San Vincenzo (km. 24): Seaside town on the Tyrrhenian coast with an excellent tourist marina. Its fine white sandy beach is bordered by tens of kilometres of dense Mediterranean woodland. San Vincenzo was once an Etruscan and Roman settlement but has been inhabited since ancient times. It is now a modern and lively town. It is worth a visit for its internationally renowned restaurants – especially, the famous “Gambero Rosso” which is highly rated in all the leading good food guides.
