Venturina (km. 11): A modern town with an ancient past as demonstrated by the Etruscan/Roman thermal baths at Caldana. Already famous in Etruscan times, the water from the hot springs averages 38º C. The springs supply the “Bagni di Caldana” (well equipped for therapeutic treatments) and the Calidario lake. The Calidario thermal baths, set in splendid historical surroundings, are equipped with the best facilities for relaxation and physical/mental wellbeing. They are open all year round, both day and night. Our guests are eligible for a discount at reception.

An important agricultural centre, Venturina is also home of the Fair, an active exhibition centre which hosts exhibitions and art etc. collections of international importance. In the centre, there is also the Museo della Cultura di Lavoro, an interesting collection of more than 6,000 exhibits and everyday objects connected to farming and related trades.
